Rosenstein, Pence & Kushner: The Trump-Russia Investigation Hits Too Close for Trump

In an attempt to quash news reports about Donald Trump and investigations surrounding him and his associates, deputy attorney general Rod Rosenstein is warning Americans not to believe articles citing “anonymous officials”.

Rosenstein said in a statement: “Americans should exercise caution before accepting as true any stories attributed to anonymous ‘officials,’ particularly when they do not identify the country — let alone the branch or agency of government — with which the alleged sources supposedly are affiliated. Americans should be skeptical about anonymous allegations. The Department of Justice has a long-established policy to neither confirm nor deny such allegations.”

The statement came on the heels of the Washington Post reporting that Jared Kushner was under investigation by Robert Mueller, special counsel.
