The New York Times is pushing 5G like nobody informed them about the potential health effects of unrolling a powerful network of radio waves right across the country. In headline after headline and ad after ad this week they have been rolling the 5G train forward and Lee addresses their marketing on VIP today. Katie Halper is the host of the Katie Halper Show and the co-host of Useful Idiots with Matt Taibbi. Halper and Lee discuss the unfolding story in Bolivia, corporate media propaganda, competition within the news-comedy scene, and the Democratic primary that’s currently driving us all insane. Useful Idiots has interviewed both Bernie Sanders and Tulsi Gabbard.
In the second half of the show Naomi Karavani takes a look at the evidence that American colleges have been purchasing the contact information of young people with low SAT scores. The institutions are using that information to encourage more students who they can turn down to apply for their schools. This pads their rejection statistics and makes them look more attractive to other applicants.
